Terms of Purchase

The legislation of the Republic of Latvia stipulates that the owner of an online store must set out the terms and conditions regarding the delivery and return of goods and services, as well as the right of withdrawal. Such an agreement is known as a distance contract (Cabinet of Ministers regulations).

Delivery and Payment Procedures

The Buyer places an order for the service via this website, specifying the type and quantity of the service required. The Buyer may pay for the service using the payment tools integrated into the online store or by paying the invoice prepared by the Seller and sent to the Buyer via email. The invoice is generated electronically and is valid without a signature.

Upon payment, the ticket is automatically sent to the email address provided by the customer during the ticket purchase process.

Black Unicorn LV accepts no liability for errors in ticket delivery caused by the customer providing incorrect information. If the customer has not received the purchased tickets via email within 24 hours of the purchase, they must contact Black Unicorn LV at [email protected].

Data Processing

By entering the necessary information when placing an order, the Buyer confirms that they have read and agreed to the use of their provided data, enabling the Seller to accept the Buyer's order and deliver the service in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia. By entering this information, the Buyer agrees to receive notifications regarding the processing of their order at the provided email address.
General Terms and Conditions

1.1. These terms and conditions govern the event organized by SIA "Black Unicorn LV" (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer") and constitute an agreement between the Organizer and the event attendee.
1.2. There are no age restrictions for event attendees; however, parents not accompanying children under the age of 16 are reminded that, in Latvia, it is prohibited for children to be in public spaces without an adult after 23:00.

Organizer’s obligations; cancellation and rescheduling of the event

2.1. The Organizer is obliged, in exchange for the relevant payment, to ensure that the event attendee holds a valid admission ticket granting entry to and participation in the event specified on the ticket. Furthermore, the Organizer must make every reasonable effort to ensure the event is organized to the highest possible standard. In cases where one attendee (the “lead attendee”) purchases tickets for multiple people, the other attendees must arrive at the same time as the “lead attendee.”
2.2. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the event without prior notice due to reasons beyond the Organizer’s control (force majeure). In such an event, the ticket holder is entitled to the rights provided for under the legislation of the Republic of Latvia.
2.3. The Organizer reserves the right to relocate the event, change the date, or alter the event program for significant reasons—such as a period of national mourning, adverse weather conditions rendering the event impossible, civil unrest, or other objective circumstances beyond the Organizer's control that make holding the event impossible—or when rescheduling is necessary to ensure the health and safety of attendees and organizers, the safety of the venue, or the smooth conduct of the event. In the event of a change to the date or venue (except where the venue is changed within the grounds of the original location), the ticket holder is entitled to return the ticket prior to the event and receive a refund of the ticket's face value at no additional cost.
2.4. If the event does not take place at the previously announced location and time, the ticket holder is entitled to return the ticket and receive a refund of the ticket's face value at no additional cost. The ticket holder must contact the ticket vendor without undue delay after receiving information regarding the cancellation or rescheduling of the event, or changes to the date, venue, or program (as referred to in Clause 2.3); this must be done before the event takes place. A refund request must be submitted within two weeks of the announcement; otherwise, the face value of the ticket will not be refunded. The refund will be processed within one month of receiving the request.
If the event takes place at the previously announced location and time, the ticket holder cannot return the ticket to the seller or claim a refund of the amount paid for the ticket.
Clause 22.12 of Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 255 "On Distance Contracts" (dated 14 September 2016) stipulates: "(The consumer may not exercise the right of withdrawal if) the contract concerns accommodation services (excluding residential lease agreements), the transport of goods, vehicle rental, catering, or entertainment events, where the service provider undertakes to provide the service on a specific date or within a specific period"; therefore, tickets purchased by the user are not bought back upon request, unless the organizer has stated otherwise.
2.5. In the cases referred to in clauses 2.2 and 2.3, a ticket holder who purchased the ticket online has the right to return the ticket, provided this is done no later than 14 days before the event. The ticket holder must send an email to [email protected] within the aforementioned timeframe, attaching the ticket and the proof of payment.
2.6. In the aforementioned cases, SIA “Black Unicorn LV” will refund the face value of the returned ticket free of charge.
2.7. Ticket refunds will be made via bank transfer to the account number specified in the request no later than 6 months after the originally scheduled date of the event, and following receipt of the request and all necessary information specified in Clause 2.5.
2.8. The Organizer undertakes to consider, for an additional fee, the possibility of changing the personal data on a personalized ticket. However, the Organizer reserves the right to refuse a change of personal data. For inquiries regarding changing personal data on a personalized ticket, please contact: [email protected]

Other conditions

3.1. Event attendees will be exposed to very high sound levels, which may damage hearing. Earplugs are recommended.
3.2. Official event programs and souvenirs will be available for purchase only at the event venue.
3.3. The purchased ticket grants permission from the Organizer to attend the event specified on the ticket. For safety reasons, this permission may be revoked at any time. An attendee who is denied entry to the event venue or removed from it due to a violation of rules and restrictions, or as a result of unlawful conduct, is not entitled to claim a refund for the ticket or any other compensation from the Organizer.
3.4. The admission ticket must not be used for any form of advertising or marketing purposes (including contests and lotteries), nor may it be used to settle obligations with third parties.
3.5. Any resale or attempted resale, or the copying and use of the ticket for commercial purposes, will void the ticket without the possibility of claiming a refund for the amount paid for the ticket.
3.6. The validity and eligibility of each ticket will be verified at the event entrance by checking the personal details on the ticket against an identity document (ID card, passport, or driver's license containing the relevant information). In the case of a group of four attendees, the identity document of the "lead attendee" must be presented, and the details must match the information on all four entry tickets. Each ticket can be validated only once at the event entrance.

Event Safety and Rules

GENERAL RULES

4.1. These rules apply to all visitors within the Low Happens Fest 2026 event grounds. The event grounds encompass the designated event area—including the meadow and adjacent ditches, roads, and surrounding meadow and forest areas.
4.2. Event visitors are defined as those who register upon arrival and pay the ticket price (covering one vehicle, including the driver and the number of passengers permitted according to the vehicle's registration document).
4.3. Event participants are defined as visitors who also register for competitions, provide the required information and documents, and pay the participant ticket fee.
4.4. Event visitors are responsible for looking after their personal belongings, children, etc.
4.5. Within the event grounds, visitors must comply with the instructions given by stewards, organizers, and their assistants (identifiable by their reflective vests).
4.6. Event visitors are permitted to photograph and film the proceedings, provided they do not cross safety barriers or disregard organizers' instructions.

ENVIRONMENT

5.1. Event visitors are required to treat the surrounding environment with care. Event organizers ask that waste be placed in the bags provided at designated waste disposal points. Always clean up after yourself! Do not litter; please respect and protect nature!
5. 2. Event organizers ask attendees to respect the areas surrounding the event site and to observe traffic signs on the adjacent road.
5. 3. Event attendees must always observe prohibition signs and directions.
5. 4. A specially installed toilet is provided for attendees' use.
5. 5. Attendees may heat or cook food they have brought with them in designated areas.

SAFETY

6.1. Event attendees are required to observe the designated zoning of the event area.
6.2. Event attendees are also responsible for supervising the safety and movements of any minors accompanying them.
6.3. It is prohibited to bring the following items into the event venue or use them there: lasers or any similar devices, intoxicating substances, explosives, pyrotechnics, firearms, bladed weapons, or other sharp objects.
6.4. For safety reasons, event stewards, organizers, or their assistants have the right to remove an attendee from the event premises if the attendee's behavior disrupts the event or endangers the safety and health of other attendees, participants, and/or organizers, or if the attendee fails to comply with event rules and/or instructions or orders given by the organizers.
6.5. Organizers reserve the right to refuse entry to any attendee whose behavior may endanger the safety and health of other attendees, participants, or organizers.
6.6. Parents are personally responsible for their minor children and their safety within the event premises.
6.7. The event organizer is not liable for the personal belongings of attendees left unattended within the event premises. The Organizer reserves the right to:
(a) deny an attendee entry to the event for safety reasons;
(b) require attendees to leave the event premises for safety reasons and take appropriate measures to ensure compliance with such a request. This also applies in cases where an attendee disturbs other attendees, behaves aggressively or provocatively, or violates these general terms and restrictions;
(c) deny entry to the event to attendees who are armed, carrying explosives or pyrotechnic materials, any flammable objects, or wearing footwear with metal parts, or who intend to bring in other dangerous items, as well as to attendees who cannot present a valid identity document (or a document verifying the identity of the “lead attendee”) that matches the details on the personalized entry ticket and confirms the person's age.

CARS/PARKING

7.1. Designated parking areas are provided for cars.
7.2. Please park your vehicle in a way that does not obstruct the movement of vehicles belonging to other visitors, participants, or event organizers. Please always follow the instructions of event stewards. Never park in a way that blocks entry or exit points within the competition area, access for emergency vehicles, or access to technical support points outside the event venue.
7.3. The event organizer assumes no liability for vehicles parked near or within the event area. The event organizer assumes no liability for vehicles and items left inside them, the technical condition of vehicles, or the health of passengers and drivers.
7.4. Vehicle speed must not exceed 20 km/h.
7.5. Performing controlled or uncontrolled slides (drifting) or tire burnouts of any kind is prohibited during the event.
7.6. Playing loud music or revving engines is prohibited during the event, except at times and locations specifically designated for such activities.

EVENT PROCEEDINGS

8.1. By entering the event venue, the attendee agrees that they may be photographed and filmed during the event and that their image may be used in albums and articles covering the event, without compensation or the application of copyright claims.
8. 2. The event organizer reserves the right to change the event program without prior notice.
8. 3. Conducting any commercial activity at the event venue without prior approval from the event organizers is prohibited.
8. 4. The event organizer assumes no liability for the quality of food, beverages, or services sold or provided within the event venue. Full liability for food and beverages sold at the event venue rests with the specific vendor.
8. 5. The event organizers assume no liability for injuries sustained by attendees or participants during the event as a result of violating the event's code of conduct or disregarding instructions given by the organizers.
8. 6. The event organizers assume no liability for damage to, loss of, or theft of attendees' personal belongings.
8. 7. Event attendees and participants are also required to comply with rules and requirements that are not explicitly stated in these event regulations but are communicated by the organizers during the event. 8. 8. The organizers do not assume responsibility for the technical condition of participants' vehicles before or after participation in the event.

RULES AND OBLIGATIONS FOR EVENT PARTICIPANTS

9.1. Event participants are required to observe all road safety regulations, both within the practical activity areas and outside them.
9.2. Event participants are directly responsible for the technical condition of their vehicles.
9.3. Event participants are required to perform maneuvers during competitions responsibly, taking into account the safety of their vehicles, themselves, other event attendees, other vehicles, and the organizers.
9.4. Event participants are required to follow the instructions and signs provided by the event organizers.
9.5. Vehicles must be driven at a speed not exceeding 10 km/h.
9.6. Before entering the competition area, event participants must pay the participation fee and thereby undertake to:

• observe road traffic regulations within the practical activity area and outside it;
• ensure their own safety and the safety of others within the practical activity area and outside it; 
• follow the organizers' instructions; 
• be responsible for the technical condition of their vehicle within the practical activity area and outside it; 
• be responsible for the safety of their personal belongings; 
• maintain a safe speed within the practical activity area and outside it; 
• not endanger their own lives and health, the lives and health of others, or the property of others.
